Awesomatix A800R FD Flex Damper Set

1. The FD kit provides additional torsional flexing of the vehicle at the point where it is installed.

2. The FD set provides adjustable damping of the deformations of the chassis caused by torsional flexion.

The degree of damping of the FD set is adjusted by selecting the silicone oil inside the damper and by selecting the pivot point on the arm of the FD rotor.

The FD kit is recommended for track conditions where the extra flex of the suspension is needed - usually bumpy tracks with low traction and when your existing suspension is too stiff for the given conditions.

Recommendations for the initial fluid in FD - 50K...100K silicone oil.

The method for adding the oil is the same as the A12 rear shock - add a few drops of the oil to the bottom of the AM282, hold the AM282 upright for a few minutes until all the oil has reached the bottom of the cavity, slowly insert the DT251 all the way into the AM282 under pressure and use a needle to ensure excess oil leakage.
