LiPo batteries are the preferred power source for 1:10 RC cars as they combine low weight with high power. They deliver constant voltage, allow high currents and are common in 2S to 3S configurations (7.4-11.1 V). However, LiPo cells require careful charging and storage as they are sensitive to overcharging and deep discharging.
